The Visual Effects program prepares the students for a career in the specialized and exciting world of creating high-quality digital effects for Film, Television and Gaming. Students learn to integrate live-action footage with computer-generated image or other elements (such as miniatures or Matte painting) to create realistic environment.
- Introduction to Visual Effects: Understanding VFX concepts, applications, terminology and the professional VFX production pipeline
- Compositing Fundamentals: Combining multiple visual elements to create seamless and believable final compositions
- Chroma Keying & Green Screen: Keying techniques, background replacement, edge refinement and live-action integration
- Rotoscoping & Matte Creation: Isolating subjects, creating mattes and preparing footage for compositing
- Motion Tracking & Match Moving: Tracking camera and object movement and integrating digital elements accurately into live-action footage
- Visual Effects Creation: Creating and integrating effects such as particles, environmental effects, explosions, atmospheric elements and other digital effects
- Digital Image Manipulation: Image enhancement, cleanup, retouching and visual reconstruction techniques
- Color Correction & Color Grading: Matching shots, correcting color and creating a consistent visual appearance
- Motion Graphics & VFX Integration: Combining animation, typography, graphics and visual effects for engaging digital content
- AI-Enhanced VFX Workflows: Using AI-assisted approaches for creative ideation, visual development, effects exploration and production planning
- AI-Assisted Production Productivity: Applying AI-enhanced workflows to support compositing preparation, creative exploration and production efficiency
- Industry Projects & Portfolio Development: Creating practical VFX projects and developing a professional showreel and portfolio
